DFCU Bank is a fast growing commercial bank offering a variety of innovative products and services. DFCU Limited was started by the Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) of the United Kingdom and the Government of Uganda through the Uganda Development Corporation (UDC) under the name of Development Finance Company of Uganda Limited. Later restructuring brought in DEG (of Germany) and International Finance Corporation (IFC) as equal partners with CDC and UDC, each having a 25% stake in the company. Its objective was to support long-term development projects whose financing needs and risk did not appeal to the then existing financial commercial lending institutions.

 

Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role holder will provide timely, high-quality visual content that supports the Marketing team in agile campaign execution, brand storytelling, and internal communications. The designer will ensure consistent visual branding across all segments and domains during high-volume campaign cycles and strategic projects, especially on internal engagement channels and customer emailers.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design visual content for internal and external campaigns including digital banners, onboarding journeys, stakeholder reports, and comms assets.

• Support real-time marketing executions with brand-compliant, on-demand creative output.

• Ensure visual content aligns with dfcu’s brand guidelines and enhances storytelling and customer engagement.

• Collaborate closely with marketing, digital, and other cross-functional teams for creative input and timely delivery.

• Maintain organized design files and assets for easy access and use across the team.

• Execute quick iterations and tweaks on creative assets based on feedback or campaign adjustments.
