Job Summary: The Forensics and Investigations Supervisor will develop and execute daily operational strategies for the Forensics & Investigations team to ensure efficient service delivery and turnaround time (TAT). The successful candidate will be responsible to conduct objective fraud appraisals and investigations for all suspected fraud incidents including referrals from internal units, departments and external stakeholders, identify fraud vulnerabilities and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate future risks. They will lead the Investigations team in compliance with the industry’s best practices and lawful fraud examination techniques and ensure timely and well-articulated reporting with clear presentation of findings.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of Higher learning in finance, economics, commerce, business administration, law, or any other field of relevance.
- Certification or training in fraud/crime detection is an added advantage.
- A post graduate qualification in a related field.
- Professional certification in sales, marketing or related fields is advantageous.
Experience & knowledge:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the financial services sector, three years of which must have been in fraud and investigations at a senior officer or supervisory level.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience at a supervisory level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-driven, and energetic.
