Job Summary: We are seeking to recruit a Warden to support the school administration in coordination and promotion of proper management & welfare of the boarding students.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work conjointly with the school administration to monitor the entry, exit of students and verify necessary requirements and luggage.
- Maintain accurate students’ records and coordinate the proper allocation of students to the dormitories.
- Ensure that the boarding students’ safety routines and standards are communicated, observed and maintained.
- Participate in the implementation of the school discipline policies, policy trainings, and adherence to disciplinary procedures for boarding students.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene of the boarding students and facilities.
- Ascertain dormitory needs, make store requests, and maintain inventory and usage records.
- Coordinate the maintenance needs of the boarding facilities and coordinate accordingly.
- Organise regular dormitory team meetings, mediate conflicts, and address other such concerns to maintain social harmony and a collegiate environment.
- Lead one-on-one mentorship, pastoral care, and guidance sessions and guidance by being present and available in the lives of learners.
- Compile monthly behavioural reports for each student and avail the same to the school administration.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the role should hold at least a Diploma in Education or any related discipline.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in teaching.
- Administrative, Guidance and counselling skills.
- Record keeping, good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office and database management.
