About US:
Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) is the mother organization and governing body of all Muslims in Uganda with 12.1% of the Ugandan Population. The Body unifies about 9,071,671 Muslims in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for strengthening and building robust UMSC organs and structures including but not limited to capacity building, policy invitation and implementation;
- Initiate and propose to the Secretary General appropriate strategic plan for the UMSC
- Initial and propose to the Secretary General development projects necessary for attainment of the UMSC object
- Deputize the Secretary General and carry out such duties as may be assigned by the Secretary General and Management
- All business dealings are in compliance with the applicable
- Proactive legal support to UMSC recovery teams in the management of aberrant center
- Carry out in-house gal trainings and sensitization symposium of UMO Inga advice provided to management on corporate and business legal matter
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in B.Com (Accounting) or BBA plus 2nd Part of professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA or ACA
- At least three years of Audit experience or in reputable organization
- Demonstrable Working knowledge of auditing principles and donor accountably requirement
