Job Summary: Nation Media Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Trainee to join our dynamic Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the execution of core finance functions, including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Taxation, and SAP system processes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and practical exposure to financial operations within East Africa’s leading media house, while contributing to the achievement of the Group’s financial and strategic objectives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
- CPA Finalist or ACCA Final Level.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar) with the ability to interpret and present financial data effectively.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and eagerness to learn and grow within the organisation.
