Job Summary: Monitor the movement of assets from the warehouse to the end user to ensure accurate real time tracking of assets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Verification of all stock at the warehousing units.
- Carry out quarter stock checks at the warehouses.
- Liaise with networks and/or technical person to verify assets.
- Coordinate with the warehousing team to conduct monthly stock count.
- Monitor delivery and dispatch of items to eliminate variances.
Coordinate the logistics process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of items.
- Follow up on movement of items from the airport to their destinations
- Follow up with suppliers in the documentation of all shipments and alert clearing
- Agent of all expected consignments
- Process and ensure Gross payment Account has funds at all times.
- Oversee packaging process
- Planning and forecasting of trading stocks to ensure availability
- Manage and coordinate KYC collection process and stock distribution.
Monitor compliance to the logistics and warehousing guidelines.
- Support the implementation of the logistics and warehousing guidelines
- Communicate the guidelines to staff and stakeholders
- Update the PO tracker for the section’s activities and flag anomalies with suppliers and stakeholders
- Provide ongoing support to users to understand the guidelines
- Ensure real time inventory transactions for receipts and issues.
Documentation & Reporting
- Update customs trackers and file documents accordingly.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports of the section’s activities.
- Compile and share with relevant stakeholders the vendors status report.
Supplier relationship management
- Coordinate and organize supplier / vendor meetings.
- Prepare and circulate minutes of the meetings.
- Implement actions to enhance the supplier relationship and maintain constant communication with them.
Teamwork and engagement
- Participate in / and organize team meetings.
- Participate in all staff and departmental meetings.
- Participate in business-driven initiatives including but not limited to the trade blitz and customer experience.
- Contribute to team’s engagement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Business, Management or Engineering or Equivalent
- Graduate Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (UK) – Added advantage
Working Experience
Must have
- At least 2 years’ experience in a busy warehousing environment
- Able to handle, prioritize, multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of Accountability and Integrity
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle (or equivalent) and MS Excel
- Able to operate in a fast-moving high performance driven organization
