Job Summary: As a Banquets & Events Supervisor, you will oversee the seamless execution of events, meetings, and banquets, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail and leadership will be critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise banquets and events from setup to breakdown.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure all requirements are met.
- Train and guide banquet staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Oversee event logistics, including seating arrangements, catering, and audiovisual setups.
- Manage billing, invoicing, and post-event reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 3+ years in banqueting or event management, preferably in hospitality.
- Education: Higher Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and hospitality software (e.g., PMS, CRM).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
- Additional: Experience in billing and financial reconciliation.
