About US:

The Embassy of Japan in Uganda is the diplomat mission of Japan.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Making and distributing daily briefings of news updates focused on Economy, Economic Cooperation and related areas.
  • Making and giving a presentation of weekly briefings of news focused on the above-mentioned areas with analysis
  • Supporting administrative and logistic work in the Section of Economic Cooperation and Economy
  • Having regular meetings with economists to collect detailed information and to update economic analysis
  • Responding to other requests/tasks by superiors and other staffs




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant for the Japanese Embassy Clerk job must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (preferable), Commerce, Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other related field.
  • Excellent Computer skills and proficiency in office computer tools especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams)
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and present complex matters in a simple way
  • Ability to work under tight schedule
  • Language Requirements: English (Knowledge of Japanese will be an added advantage)
