Job Summary: The Disability and Inclusion Advisor (National Volunteer) will strengthen the capacity of the implementation partners and teachers for successful delivery of disability and inclusion outcomes under the A-plus project, supporting overall VSO’s inclusion footprint in Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have degree in Special Needs, adult education, social sciences and social works or related discipline and knowledge and understanding of inclusive education and rights-based approaches.
- At least four years of experience in the field of quality and inclusive education especially working at a disability and inclusive role.
- Experience working with Persons with disability, youth and women community and national levels is required.
- Previous experience implementing employability projects will be an added advantage
