Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience with financial reporting and analysis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and providing financial support to management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial advice and support to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting role, including at least 1 years in a senior position.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
