Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with dedicated exposure to project financial management to join our Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) finance team. In this key role, you will oversee complex project accounting workflows, manage end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606 / IFRS 15, supervise job cost allocations, and lead monthly financial closing procedures. You will work closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams, and junior accounting staff to ensure accurate contract profitability analysis, cash flow forecasting, and statutory compliance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is required.
- Experience: 4-6+ years of total accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically focused on EPC, construction, infrastructure, or heavy engineering projects.
- Technical Mastery: Deep technical mastery of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition for long-term construction contracts, job costing, and contract risk evaluation.
- ERP Systems: Advanced proficiency in enterprise ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Tally, or Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities (financial modeling, complex data formulas, pivot tables).
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Proven supervisory capability, sharp analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and strong executive communication to interface with site management and executive leadership.
