Job Summary: The Sales Executive – IT Hardware role is a full-time, on-site position based in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The individual in this role will identify and develop new business opportunities for IT hardware solutions, including networking equipment, servers, and related infrastructure.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
- The Sales Executive will maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, coordinate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs, and monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- The role also involves achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate sales records, and representing Aircom Global at industry events and client engagements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Candidates should possess strong IT Sales and Information Technology skills, with experience selling IT hardware and infrastructure solutions.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Account Management skills to build pipelines and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proven track record in B2B sales within ICT or related sectors is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of networking, servers, data center solutions, and IT equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Ugandan market and local business environment will be considered an asset.
