Job Title:  Senior Sales & Marketing Executive – Commercial

Duty Station:  Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Sales & Marketing Manager – Commercial

About US:

Graphic Systems Uganda is the largest printing & packaging company in Uganda. It supplies indoor and outdoor print advertising collateral, commercial printing, cartons, labels and promotional items. In addition the company manufactures corporate wear and garments. Product line: Commercial Printing (books, posters, flyers, carnets), Large Format printing (billboards, pull up banners, tear drops), Garmenting (corporate uniforms, customized t-shirts, polos, overalls) and promotional giveaway items (USBs, mugs, agendas, etc.)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales:

• Achieving the annual sales target

PR:

• Maintaining the strong reputation of the firm with clients

Administrative

• Record keeping (sample approvals, contracts, etc.)

Production:

• Coordinate with production team to ensure orders are delivered as per client requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• BBA/BA/BSC in Sales & Marketing (preferred)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in sales & marketing of commercial printing goods or promotional giveaway items
• Exposure to several technologies including: sheet fed offset, large format printing, digital printing, screen printing.
• Serving at least 20-30 corporate clients.
• Managing sales of at least 300,000 USD per annum
• Must have worked in Africa preferably East Africa.
• Age: Minimum 28 years old – Maximum 40 years old.
• Linguistic skills: English: Written (Fluent) Spoken (Fluent).

Key Skills: To achieve success, some of the Key Skills that the senior sales executive is expected to have include:

Sales & Marketing:

• Strong analytical, problem solving & PR skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to identify opportunities to increase margin & sales.
• Ability to create strong relationship with clients.

Production:

• Understanding of production processes (offset printing, large format, garment manufacturing)

Administrative Skills:

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
