Reports to: General Accounts Manager
About US:
Graphic Systems Uganda is the largest printing & packaging company in Uganda. It supplies indoor and outdoor print advertising collateral, commercial printing, cartons, labels and promotional items. In addition the company manufactures corporate wear and garments.
Job Summary: The primary objective of the Accounts Executive will be to handle Journal Entry vouchers (Import VAT Entries Expenses and other adjustments), Bank/Cash Transactions, Booking Bills Payables and purchase entries, Freight Forwarders & Clearing Agents Transactions, WHT Returns along with reconciliation with books, Bank Transactions, Filing and handling Monthly Insurance Declarations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Accounting. professional qualification will be an added advantage.
- At least four to five years of experience in a busy environment preferably in the Manufacturing Sector.
- Citizen: Preferably Ugandan Nationality.
- Linguistic skills: Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
- Age: Above 30 Years
Key Skills:
- Experience & knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Must have proper knowledge of documenting accounting records.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must possess analytical skills.
- Must be accurate and able to interpret figures/numbers.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Must have working knowledge of accounting software like ERP/SAP.
- Must be ethical.
