Job Summary: To support the execution of growth marketing, digital, content, communications and events activities, with a primary focus on social media and content creation. The role provides hands-on experience in marketing execution within a fast-paced payments and technology environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Content Creation
- Support development, approval and publishing of content across social media channels.
- Maintain the content calendar and ensure pages remain active and monitored.
- Create basic social content, including copy, graphics, short-form video and reels.
- Monitor engagement, trends and customer interactions and escalate issues where required.
- Track basic social media performance and provide regular updates.
Digital Marketing & Media Support
- Support the digital media buyer with social media, email, SEO/SEM and display campaigns.
- Coordinate digital assets and assist with campaign tracking, reporting and optimization.
- Conduct basic research on digital trends, audiences and competitors.
- Support lead-generation activities by maintaining campaign information and ensuring leads
- or responses are appropriately captured and escalated.
Internal Communications
- Support the development and distribution of internal communication materials, including announcements, employee updates, campaign communications and internal engagement content.
- Assist in developing engaging internal content for relevant channels such as email, employee platforms and internal social channels.
Creative Development
- Support the Growth Marketing Specialist in coordinating with internal and external design teams on marketing materials.
- Prepare and share creative briefs, campaign information and reference materials with designers as directed.
- Track creative requests and follow up on agreed timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Conduct initial quality checks on marketing materials to ensure correct copy, logos, product information, formats and required specifications are reflected before sharing for final approval.
- Assist with resizing and adapting approved creative assets for different digital channels where required and within capability.
- Maintain an organised library of approved brand and campaign assets.
Events, Webinars & Sponsorships
- Support the Growth Marketing Specialist in coordinating creative briefs and marketing materials with design teams.
- Assist with events, webinars and sponsorship activities, including logistics and communications.
- Support post-event reporting and documentation.
Marketing Administration & Coordination
- Maintain marketing calendars, trackers, reports and campaign files.
- Support routine coordination with internal teams, agencies and suppliers.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Business or a related field.
- Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
EXPERIENCE:
- This is an entry-level internship position, and extensive professional experience is not required.
- Some practical experience or strong passion for social media management and content creation.
- Experience managing a personal, university, business or community social media page is an advantage.
- Basic skills in Canva, CapCut or similar tools.
- Good writing, communication and digital skills.
- Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, creative, curious and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working collaboratively and managing multiple priorities.
- Portfolio or examples of social media/content work will be an advantage.
