Kyagalanyi Coffee Limited (KCL) is Uganda’s oldest licensed coffee exporter and a leading processor of high-quality Arabica and Robusta coffee. Established in 1992 following the liberalization of the coffee industry, it now operates as the Ugandan subsidiary of the global coffee trader Volcafe Group (part of ED&F Man).
Job Summary: Electrical Engineering graduates design, develop, test, and supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment in various industries
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
System Design
- : Assist in designing electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, lighting, and instrumentation for buildings, plants, or equipment .
Installation & Supervision
- : Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems .
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- : Perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot electrical systems to minimize downtime .
Project Support
- : Support project managers in planning, budgeting, and scheduling electrical engineering projects .
Compliance & Safety
- : Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies .
Technical Documentation
- : Prepare technical specifications, drawings, reports, and operation manuals .
Energy Efficiency
- : Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce power consumption in electrical systems .
