About US:

COOEC-CPECC Joint Venture consisting of COOEC INTERNATIONAL CO., LIMITED, and CHINA PETROLEUM ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION (CPECC) UGANDA LIMITED is a CNOOC Uganda Ltd Contractor for Kingfisher Oil Field Development Package-3, and the scope of work includes four well pads production facilities, central -processing plant (CPF), Infield Flow Lines, water Intake pump stations, temporary camp, etc.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the whole project schedule, include engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning and subcontracted work packages.
  • Reporting to the Project General Manager, prepare an overall schedule and resource loaded program and other micro programmers for execution of EPC project.
  • Responsible for preparation & maintenance of the planning deliverables with involvement of Engineering disciplines.
  • Identify deviations to contractual plan and suggest corrective actions, in liaison with Project Engineers and Disciplines.
  • Periodic analysis to predict accurately in advance the corrective actions needed for smooth and timely execution of the project.
  • Establishment of Work Break Down Structure (WBS).
  • Computerized project management tools such as Primavera.
  • Project Planner (P6) and JANUS will be used extensively for designing of detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in hierarchical manner in the beginning of the project.
  • Control Schedule (Baseline Schedule) and Working Schedules will be
  • developed in line with WBS.
  • Planning & scheduling integrates each item of work in the schedule with logical sequence which form the basis for tracking the commitment windows for all main performers in the project execution.
  • Preparation of EPC Implementation schedule, performing Project Risk assessment on EPC and preventive measure.
  • Monitor engineering design, material and equipment procurement and construction and commissioning status and release of milestone related progress information, identify deviations and
  • suggest possible measures. Coordinate with other department and team members and prepare schedule forecasts.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor of Oil & Gas Engineering.
  • At least twelve years of Oil and Gas engineering experience.
