Uganda Broadcasting
Corporation (UBC) is the public broadcaster of Uganda. It was founded as a
result of the “Uganda Broadcasting Corporation Act, 2004”, which
merged the operations of Uganda Television (UTV) and Radio Uganda. It started
broadcasting on November 16, 2005.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate for the Uganda
Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) Station Manager UBC TV job placement must
hold a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Mass
Communication, Journalism, Public relations, Public Administration,
Business Administration, Broadcasting or any other related field.
Postgraduate degree in any of the above
will be an added advantage.
Specialized training in Radio and
Television Production.
Six years’ experience in Broadcast
operations of which three years must have been at supervisory level in a
reputable organization.
