Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) is the public broadcaster of
Uganda. It was founded as a result of the “Uganda Broadcasting Corporation
Act, 2004”, which merged the operations of Uganda Television (UTV) and
Radio Uganda. It started broadcasting on November 16, 2005.

Job Summary: The Management Accountant will primarily be
responsible for the maintenance of management accounts with clear monitoring of
the revenue and cost centers’ performance and to ensure that the department
managers and their teams operate within the agreed budget. The management
accountant also oversees other finance and accounting roles.

- Budgeting and budgetary control
- In charge of expenditure control
Responsible for management reporting and advisory
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience:
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess a
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or BBA (Accounting), ACCA, CPA or equivalent
accounting professional qualification. - At minimum of five years’ relevant
experience in similar position in a busy organisation - Knowledge of pastel accounting packages
- Excellent analytical & Report Writing
skills - High level of integrity
