Quantum Foods is a diversified business built around animal feed, poultry and eggs. We are one of a few high-volume producers serving livestock farmers, processors and retailers in South Africa and selected other African markets.
Job Summary: Manage all distribution functions in raw materials, finished goods, dispatch, returns, and waste loading Manage all stores and finished goods warehouse Plan and optimise the off-loading of trucks Maintain stock accuracy and quality Establish and maintain all distribution standards Comply with customer mass customisation and unique demands Reduce supply chain waste across raw materials and finished goods dumps/waste
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all distribution functions in raw materials, finished goods, dispatch, returns, and waste loading
- Manage all stores and finished goods warehouse
- Plan and optimise the off-loading of trucks
- Maintain stock accuracy and quality
- Establish and maintain all distribution standards
- Comply with customer mass customisation and unique demands
- Reduce supply chain waste across raw materials and finished goods dumps/waste
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Technical Competencies
- People management and customer relationship management
- Certified Supply Chain Professional or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution is advantageous
