Job Summary: As a Project Engineer at Nexus Green, your primary responsibility is to oversee and supervise all civil works and energy package installation activities for our projects. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of our projects, encompassing various tasks such as the construction of pump houses, guard houses, fencing, tank construction, and installation of solar PV systems, inverters, pumps, auxiliary lighting systems, and alarm systems.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Postgraduate qualification in construction management will be an added advantage.
Professional Experience
- A 5 years’ experience in construction supervision of water supply and/ or irrigation infrastructure including similar conventional water treatment plants and pipe networks.
- Experience as Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer on at least 2 previous projects (similar in scale and content to this one) in the East Africa region.
- Proven experience managing projects from planning and mobilisation through execution, commissioning, and completion.
- Demonstrated experience in contractor and subcontractor management, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously will be an added advantage.
- Experience in solar energy, construction, irrigation or EPC projects is highly desirable.
