Job Summary: The PET Strap Production (Extrusion) Line Technician
will be responsible for operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PET extrusion machinery to ensure efficient production, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor PET extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Set and adjust machine parameters to achieve product specifications.
- Conduct routine quality checks on PET straps and related products.
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment faults.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize production waste.
- Maintain accurate production and machine performance records.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate, Diploma, or Technical Training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating extrusion machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in PET tightening strap production or extrusion is
- a must.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, quality control procedures, and industrial safety practices.
- Strong machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
