Job Summary: The Facility Digitization Coordinator manages DART’s facility-level digitization work, including site readiness, ICT infrastructure deployment, EMR implementation coordination, commissioning, asset management, user readiness, and maintenance arrangements at targeted Health Centre IV facilities. The position ensures facility technology, EMR deployment, connectivity, power, training, and support are sequenced as one operational package.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate joint facility readiness assessments, prioritization, specifications, bills of quantities, and wave plans for targeted HC IVs
- Coordinate delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and site acceptance of computers, tablets, mini-servers, LANs, connectivity, peripherals, and power-backup integration
- Align facility installation waves with MOH-approved EMR deployment, configuration, testing, training, and go-live plans
- Coordinate regional ICT contractors, facility teams, MOH/DHI, district teams, and other partners to resolve readiness and implementation barriers
- Ensure all delivered assets are recorded in MOH asset registers and supported by warranty, maintenance, and lifecycle documentation
- Establish facility-level commissioning checklists, acceptance records, installation evidence, and issue escalation procedures
- Coordinate device management, spares planning, preventive maintenance, and handover arrangements
- Monitor deployment progress, site readiness, system uptake, and implementation risks; contribute to milestone evidence packs and quarterly reporting
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, information technology, engineering, public health, project management, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience coordinating health-facility digitization, EMR deployment, ICT infrastructure, or large-scale field implementation
- Experience with facility readiness assessments, ICT procurement/deployment, asset management, and user training coordination
- Knowledge of EMR implementation, health facility workflows, connectivity, power constraints, and regional logistics is strongly preferred
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and English communication skills
