Job Title: Cashier (Fresher Jobs)

Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cash and cheque receipts for customers.
• Reconcile and share a summarized daily report of cash receipts and banking.
• Ensure accountability for petty cash payments through properly authorized vouchers.
• Maintain proper filing and safe custody of all deposit slips and unbanked cheques.
• Stamp each sales order, clearly indicating the amount paid, receipt number, and payment date.
• Ensure all current cheques received are promptly submitted for banking.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
• Verify that all records are balanced before close of business each day and promptly report any discrepancies.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or any Business-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a retail cashier.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail with proven accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
