Job Summary: Our client is looking for a Treasury Accountant to support effective management of the company’s cash resources by ensuring accurate cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, treasury transactions, liquidity management, and compliance with treasury policies. The person will be responsible for maintaining strong controls over cash movements, supporting payment processes, and providing timely treasury reports to support business decisions

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 1. Cash Management & Treasury Operations
  • Monitor daily cash positions across all bank accounts and provide regular cash position reports.
  • Prepare daily cash flow updates and support short-term liquidity planning.
  • Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure availability of funds for operational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of treasury transactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely application of all receipts, CNs and DNs to respective TAR accounts.
  • Analysis of various bank charges to ensure correct amounts are charged on company accounts.
  • Ensure a maximum of 0.5% incidences of errors in receipting.
  • 2. Bank Reconciliations
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve unreconciled items, including outstanding deposits, payments, and bank charges.
  • Ensure all bank transactions are accurately captured in the accounting system.
  • Follow up on aged reconciling items and ensure timely clearance.
  • Reconciliation of GL accounts in the accounting system.
  • 3. Reporting
  • Prepare treasury reports including: ➢ Daily cash position reports ➢ Bank balance reports ➢ Treasury exposure reports
  • 4. Compliance & Internal Controls
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies and finance procedures.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all treasury transactions.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required treasury records.
  • Identify and report control weaknesses or potential risks.
  • 5. Accounting Support
  • Prepare treasury-related journal entries.
  • Reconcile treasury balances with the general ledger.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Ensure accurate recording of bank charges, interest income, and financing transactions.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in treasury, accounting, banking operations, or financial management.
  • Experience in bank reconciliations and cash management
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems

Job Summary: The Country Director is MSI’s most senior representative in Uganda. The role works closely with government, donors, and social business stakeholders to overcome barriers that prevent women and men from accessing safe, affordable, and reliable family planning and other sexual and reproductive health services. The Country Director is accountable for the overall strategy, leadership, and management of MSI Uganda, including programmatic, financial, operational, and administrative performance.

The role leads the delivery of MSI’s national family planning and sexual and reproductive health programmes through mobile outreach, public sector strengthening, social marketing, maternity services, and centres, managing for results, promoting innovation, and keeping clients at the heart of everything we do.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification, such as an MBA, or MPH.
  • Minimum of five years’ executive-level leadership experience.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial judgement.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.

To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience:

  • Proven track record of building and sustaining strategic relationships with senior external stakeholders, including governments, donors, development partners, and regulators, to secure resources, influence policy, and deliver measurable organisational outcomes.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a business or business unit through the full business cycle, balancing commercial, operational, and strategic priorities to achieve profitable growth and long-term value.
  • Strong record of financial stewardship through effective governance, risk management, and internal controls, including experience managing a P&L and making strategic decisions that improve financial performance, optimise resource allocation, and strengthen the bottom line.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing teams, creating an environment of trust, accountability, empowerment, and continuous development.
  • Proven ability to lead organisational transformation, aligning strategy, people, processes, and culture to implement and sustain change while maintaining operational performance and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as the principal management interface with a Board, ensuring effective governance, regulatory compliance, strategic oversight, and productive relationships that support organisational growth.
