Job Title: Credit Officer – 3 Positions

Duty Station: Bushenyi, Uganda

About Organisation:

Kyamuhunga Peoples Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Ltd (KYAPS) is a growing SACCO whose operations cover Western Uganda. It started her operations on 28th December 1998. KYAPS is a Member founded, Member controlled and Member governed Tier four Financial Institution dully registered as a Cooperative Society under the 1991 Cooperative Act.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Booking new and repeat loans as per Officers targets
• Preparing the prerequisite number of loan files and ensuring that all requirements are on file and proper credit analysis has been done and then submit to your supervisor.
• Following up approved loans to do timely disbursement and achieve a TAT of not more than 3 days per case.
• Reporting all non-performing cases to the supervisor and seek recovery support.
• Monitoring and recovery of all the loans in their portfolio.
• Selling all KYAPS’ loan products to the general public and converting them into KYAPS members.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of a Diploma in a Business related field.
• Should possess 2 principle passes at A’ Level and credits in English and Mathematics at O’ Level.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
• Skills and Competencies Required
• Good team work skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Creativity and writing skills.
• Strong business and analytical skills
• Should be self driven
• High level of integrity
• Age: Between 27 to 35 years
