Avanti Energy Services Limited (Avanti) is a Ugandan national company, which engages in providing services to the upstream oil and gas production industry within Uganda. Avanti was awarded a contract by a major oil and gas service company to source and employ in excess of 100 Ugandan engineers, technicians, operators and laborers to support their oil drilling operations within Uganda.
Job Summary: Are you a strategic marketing leader ready to make a bold impact in the energy industry? Avanti Energy Services Ltd is seeking a dynamic Marketing Director to lead our marketing strategy, drive business growth, and strengthen our market presence both locally and internationally.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Management, Petroleum Engineering, or related field 10+ years of cumulative work experience, including 3+ years in oil & gas marketing
- Strong grasp of Uganda’s oil industry and market dynamics
- Experience in overseas markets is a strong advantage Skilled in market analysis, planning, execution, and innovative marketing approaches
- Proven leadership and cross-cultural communication abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the local language
- Resilient, adaptive, and solutions-oriented under pressure
