A large number of our 400,000 members are actively involved in the Church, society and in politics.

Job Summary:   We are looking for a highly motivated PME Consultant to join our team and collaborate with African Kolping partners. The successful candidate will help shape PME strategies that drive impactful development projects throughout the project cycle.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the KOLPING INTERNATIONAL PME team and African Kolping Association to align PME activities with project goals.
• Train technical staff on PME principles and practices.
• Develop and facilitate workshops on essential PME topics throughout the project cycle.
• Consult partners on developing objectives, indicators, log frames, monitoring plans, and impact measurement strategies.
• Supervise and manage external evaluations.
• Develop and manage monitoring software to track progress, evaluate performance, and ensure accountability.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of proven experience and expertise in PME within the development sector.
• Relevant university degree.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
• Proficient in conceptual and strategic thinking with intercultural competence.
• Highly motivated to work in an intercultural context, with strong presentation and time management skills.
• Effective workshop design and facilitation skills.
• Strong reporting and writing abilities.
• Willingness to work remotely and travel across various African countries.
• Professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of French, Swahili, or German is an added advantage.
