Job Title: Project Manager

Job Summary: The Procurement Manager will develop and monitor the company’s supply chain strategy. The goal is to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Farmer and Vendor Procurement, Collect the rates from the Market/Project.
- Disseminate our rate to projects/ Vendors and take updates during the day.
- Track Purchase Order quantity Vs Delivered quantity on a daily basis.
- Prepare Procurement documentation for Payment, Coordinate with QC for Quality tracking, Prepare Deduction of Quality and Wt. differences.
- Payment Follow up with Accounts, Coordinate Vendor Sampling activities.
- Track material dispatches from Vendors/ Projects and
- Tally the physical and book stock .
- Co-ordination with Vendors, Farmers, Transporters, Labor contractors, QC .
- MIS Report, Data Management, Management and Disposal of Stock.
- Supervise all buying centers and stores to ensure procurement money advanced to all field officers and CBF’s balances with the produce they deliver.
- Make reconciliations with the accountant on daily basis to ensure money given for procurement is accounted for.
- Handle/document purchases and prepare buying reports at the field level and submit them to the supervisor.
- Inspect trucks transporting the produce to ensure they are safe for both the personnel and produce and resolve any challenges that may occur.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- B.Sc. / MSc (Agriculture) – Compulsory.
- Knowledge of Agri Commodities, Agri Commodity Exports, Manufacturing, Food processing, organic products.
- Preferably 5-8 Years.
