Job Summary: Ensure the day to day accounting activities of the department run smoothly
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deal with all bank related matters by making deposits, withdrawals, both cheque and cash in a timely manner to ensure finance related matters run smoothly.
- Arrange for payments of traders for the raw materials delivered at the warehouse after verifying the prices with the country manager and quantities delivered with the warehouse manager.
- Handle all company petty cash by distributing it to the respective departments and ensure that accountability is given before more money is dispersed.
- Make a report on the daily stock received, processed and sold, indicating the values to management so as to keep them updated of all stock-related matters.
- Make daily updates of all information into the tally system, for easy access of all information that may be required, keep accountability and for audit purposes.
- Process sales invoices for export of goods after verifying prices with the country manager and in line with the sales contracts received from the head quarters.
- Maintain proper accounting documents by filing them to ensure that they are in safe custody and easily accessed by the finance team.
- Make bank reconciliations on a daily basis by checking the bank balance and uncleared cheques to keep track of the cash flow and inform management of the bank position.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree in accounts or finance related course
Work Experience
- At least 1-2 year in a related field.

- Computer skills with knowledge in excel and tally

- High level of integrity
- Must be a team player
