Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Internal Audit (No Experience Jobs)

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Gathering: Collect and collate data that supports the audit engagement.
- Document Review: Assist in the review and preparation of documents, contracts, and agreements backing audit criteria and findings.
- Compliance: Support the Internal Audit team in ensuring that the function complies with the provisions of the International Professional Practices of Internal Auditing
- Corporate Governance: Gain insights into corporate governance practices and procedures and assist in maintaining compliance.
- Learning and Development: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
- Assist the Internal Audit team in collaborating with other assurance providers. Both internal and external.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the internal audit field.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration.
