Job Summary:  We’re looking for a BTL officer who’s creative, resourceful, and has experience coordinating large-scale below-the-line marketing strategies. You’ll help coordinate the day-to-day operations of our BTL marketing activities and mobile money branding as we rapidly scale our business and help us maintain desirable user growth and agent activation rates.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Own the day-to-day logistics of marketing operations: roadshows, stands, events in the assigned region.
• Prepare supporting materials, promotional merchandise for events, and other BTL activities.
• Receive stock of marketing supplies and materials from our vendors and suppliers, and organize appropriate dispatching; track inventory of all stock and organize orders to avoid stock-outs
• Support in planning, implementation, and promoting a monthly, weekly, and daily BTL plan in the assigned regions.
• Plan & manage the periodically ground activation & promotions in the given region
• Control events including preparation and performing Events & Exhibitions
• Monitor competitor market activities
• Plan and execute POS materials

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar area
• Two years of working experience in trade marketing, in-store communication, or a similar role.
• Outstanding understanding of Marketing Mix
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Knowledge of at least one or more local languages
• Have successfully executed marketing operations and events.
• Love to be in the field and do not mind doing some handy work.
• Are diplomatic and have excellent communication skills.
• Are detail-oriented and seek to achieve excellence in everything you do.
• Enjoy owning projects – you are autonomous yet know when to escalate problems.
• Are intellectually curious, creative in the way you go about tackling problems, and embrace failure as a means to spark innovation and growth.
• Adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
• Think about culture and process from the users’ perspective.
