and injustice. To achieve this, we support local projects in developing
countries, we lobby governments and companies to take into account the
interests of the poorest people and we campaign to involve citizens in our
work. We implement our programs by working with local NGO partners and civil

program is anchored on three broad themes deliberately focused on Women’s
Rights: Resilient Livelihoods, Governance and Accountability and Humanitarian
Preparedness and Response.
Health Promotion Team Leader will provide leadership in carrying out technical
assessments, design, and implement water and sanitation projects that are
socially acceptable, environmental friendly and economically viable taking into
consideration the broader perspective of Public Health work in emergencies.
The job holder shall coordinate other WASH
sector actors in designing, implementing and reporting Hygiene Promotion
activities and, ensuring that the construction of emergency water systems,
using surface water and possibly ground water, follows technical designs;
Work closely with the Public Health Promotion
Team throughout the planning, design and implementation stages of the WASH
Programme;
Actively contribute towards planning and
proposal writing in order to provide clear objectives and establish indicators
for monitoring and evaluating the programme;
Ensure that work aims to meet Minimum Standards
and adheres to Oxfam’s emergency guidelines and protocols and, enhance the WASH
capacity of selected humanitarian partners in the West-Nile region to respond
to this current refugee crisis or to the potential future refugee crisis and to
increase the resilience of the host communities;
Support Public Health Promotion technical
coordination and relations with district, OPM, UNHCR, UNICEF and other
stakeholders in WASH.
