Job Summary: The Performance
and Reporting Engineer will be responsible for the generation of all types of
performance reports and daily/weekly/monthly operational reports within the
scope of work delegated by work area responsible
Key Duties and
Responsibilities: 
  • Measure the network performance and KPIs
  • Generation of Performance reports on
    routine basis
  • Generation of operational reports on
    routine basis
  • Recognizing the improvement areas for
    operational performance development
  • Identifying the root cause for network
    performance degradation
  • Recognizing the area of exclusions for
    network performance degradation
  • Raising trouble ticket to concerned
    department for the identified problems which leads/ may lead to
    performance degradation
  • Preparing the monthly performance
    dash-board and sharing with FMD manager for the distribution.
Qualifications, Skills and
Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate should hold a
    University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
    Telecommunications, Computer Science, Civil Engineering or equivalent
    experience in a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three to five years’
    experience in telecoms, particularly in a performance reporting,
    performance tools support
  • Programming and software development
    knowledge is an advantage
  • Deep knowledge of customer network and
    infrastructure will be a key advantage
  • Highly developed business and human
    competencies
NB: The above mentioned role may be based in Tanzania or
Uganda.
