The Allied health professional’s council was established by an Act of
Parliament in 1996, cap 268. The Council is a body corporate with a perpetual
succession. It may sue or be sued in its corporate name and subject to this
statute may do or suffer all other things and acts as body corporate do or
suffer.

Job Summary: The
Systems Administrator will manage and design systems capable of
supporting the hardware and soft ware infrastructure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Initializing, monitoring and ensuring that
IT systems are fully operational,
Maintaining and performing regular backups
of system information and data,
Maintaining documentation and inventories
relating to IT resources and Service,
Identifying and reporting hardware and
software malfunctions,
Offering user support and troubleshooting,
Managing and regular updating of AHPC
website,
Ensure accuracy and consistency of
professionals’ data in the AHPC system.
Install, configure, troubleshoot and keep
custody of computer hardware, software,
manuals, license, and tools,
Analyze data and generate reports,
Advise management on IT matters,
Establish and maintain effective LAN;
Ensure that IT budgets, priorities,
standards and procedures are adhered to,
Perform any other duties as may be
assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills &
Experience:

The applicant should possess a Bachelors’
degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized institution,
Professional qualification in Networking
(Cisco, CCNA or Cisco CCNP) will be an added advantage,
Comprehensive knowledge of HMIS shall be
of added advantage,
At least two years of relevant working
experience.
