Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church-founded private not for profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related health care services of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices.
Job Summary: Design, implement, and maintain ICT network infrastructure to support reliable and secure project operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain ICT network infrastructure across project offices and branches.
- Monitor network performance and cybersecurity, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Support connectivity between the Head Office and regional branches/warehouses.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents in a timely manner.
- Support installation and configuration of network hardware and software.
- Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science (minimum class – Second Upper)
- Degree in Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications:
- Relevant networking certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA or equivalent).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity
Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to branch offices as needed
