Job Summary: To safely and accurately issue fuel, lubricants and related consumables while maintaining proper records and supporting effective control of fuel and lubricant usage.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dispense fuel and lubricants to authorised vehicles and equipment.
- Record all fuel and lubricant issues accurately.
- Verify vehicle/equipment details and authorised quantities before dispensing.
- Monitor fuel and lubricant stock levels.
- Report unusual consumption, leakages or discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and order around fuel dispensing areas.
- Follow fuel handling, storage and environmental procedures.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is used when handling fuel and lubricants.
- Report spills, leaks and safety incidents immediately.
- Support regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Comply with AGL safety, environmental and operational procedures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum secondary school qualification; relevant technical training is an advantage.
- 1–2 years’ experience in fuel handling, stores or a similar operational environment.
- Experience in a fleet/workshop environment is an advantage
