Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About Organisation:

Makerere University has received funding from the Governments of Uganda and South Korea to I implement the Improvement of Makerere University Project.

Job Summary: Manage the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting function of the project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Timely preparation of the project’s regular progress reports.
• Continuous assessment of project risks and remedial actions.
• C) Track procurement planning and reporting.
• Organize periodic evaluation meetings with the relevant stakeholders regarding the progress of the activities, the challenges encountered, and possible solutions;
• Timely reporting to the Supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• An honors bachelor’s degree in business administration, humanities, or a related field
• A postgraduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation.
• Experience
• At least five (5) years of experience in a similar role in a public or private organization.

Competencies

• Good Communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in using relevant computer packages;
• Teamwork and team building;
• Excellent in writing reports.
• High integrity
