About Organisation:
Cairo Bank Uganda was incorporated on 11th July, 1994. The Bank was formerly known as Cairo International Bank owned by the three leading Egyptian Banks namely; Banque Du Caire, Bank Misr and National Bank of Egypt. In 2019, it became a fully owned subsidiary of Banque Du Caire (BDC). The shareholder consolidation in 2019 was on the back of expanding its presence across Africa whilst providing an entry point into the COMESA market.
Job Summary: To achieve agreed sales targets inform of growth in customer deposits, assets, carded customers, new to bank customers, transactional growth, selling digital products among others in line with the business objectives through pro-active selling of the Bank products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Relationship officer will deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through selling & cross selling of Bank’s products in line with the set targets.
- Actively arrange and participate in sales campaigns to meet specific sales targets.
- Submit completed account opening forms in line with the Bank policies and requirements.
- Cross sell all Bank products as per set targets.
- Attend all meetings as may be required from time to time.
- Check correctness and completion of each new account application and all other customer documents.
- Comply with general operational risk requirements e.g. KYC and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with the role.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field.
- Experience.
- At least 1 year sales experience, preferably in a financial institution
- Basic knowledge of the Bank’s products and services is an added advantage.
