Job Summary: To provide real-time monitoring of trucks using GPS tracking systems integrated with live camera feeds, ensuring driver safety, cargo security, route compliance, and efficient fleet operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor live GPS tracking and in-vehicle camera feeds for all trucks
- Ensure continuous visibility of fleet movement and driver activity
- Detect and report risky driver behaviors (over-speeding, fatigue, distractions, harsh driving)
- Track route adherence and immediately flag deviations Respond in real-time to incidents such as accidents, breakdowns, or security threats
- Review camera footage and GPS data for incident investigations
- Maintain communication with drivers and dispatch team for quick issue resolution
- Generate daily and incident-based reports on fleet performance and safety
- Ensure all GPS and camera systems are online and functioning properly
- Coordinate with technicians for system faults, repairs, or installations
- Maintain logs of trips, alerts, and system performance
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree / Diploma in IT, Transport & Logistics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in live GPS tracking systems and vehicle camera monitoring (preferred)
- Familiarity with fleet management systems and telematics Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor multiple screens
- Good communication and incident reporting skills
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
