Job Title: IT Techno Functional Manager – SAP

Abacus Pharma Limited is the leading distributor and manufacturer of pharmaceutical products in the East Africa region, with its head quarter in Uganda. Abacus distributes a variety of pharmaceutical products that cover the therapeutic areas; Cardio-vascular drugs, Respiratory, Anti-infective, Dermatology, Metabolic disorder, Pain management, Gastro Instestinal, Vaccines, Fertility Drugs – IVF, Anti-malarial, Medical Consumables / Sundries, Surgical / Medical Equipment, Neuro-CNS and OTCs (over the counter drugs).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, a postgraduate qualification in Computer Science is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP roles, covering both functional and technical responsibilities with at least one full cycle implementation.
- Proficiency in SAP systems and modules in SD, MM, PP, Fl, QM and SAP, SuccessFactors (HR), along with experience in data analytics.
- Use and implementation of HANA databases.
- Strong knowledge of Uganda tax regulations and EFRIS integration and reporting.
- Project implementation using the ASAP or SAP activate SAP implementation frameworks.
- Excellent communication, Leadership, and organizational skills.
- SAP certification or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience in network infrastructure, Cloud Hosting environment, the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage.
