Job Summary: Provide a comprehensive housing and asset management service to University staff

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain records on all staff housing units in the University;
Maintain records of the University inventory of furniture therein and transfer of furniture on authority of Chief Engineer;
Prepare bi-monthly reports of tenants for ease identification and tracking;
Facilitate the entry/ vacancy of staff units as directed by the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chief Engineer;
Prepare reports on the conditions for the University houses;
Conduct visits to the housing units to carry out spot checks occupancy and inspections of the houses to ensure maintenance of standards;
Supervise and appraise staff as assigned by the Supervisor;
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

BSc. in Urban Planning or Real Estates Management or Valuation Surveying or Land Economics or related field from a recognized institution;

Skills/Competences

Communication skills;
Team work;
Interpersonal skills
Computer literate;
Attention to details;
Age Limit: APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
