Job Summary:   We are hiring a Warehouse Manager for a full-time, on-site position at our Head Office in Kampala, Uganda. This role will oversee the operations of our warehousing facilities, ensuring efficient stock control, inventory management, and seamless logistics operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in improving order fulfillment, managing warehouse staff, and optimizing processes to meet business goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including stock transfers, goods procurement, and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in inventory management systems.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce order fulfillment delays.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and inventory levels.
• Manage warehouse costs effectively, including rent, fuel, and labor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in stock control, inventory control, and operations management.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
• Practical experience with forklift operation and warehouse machinery.
• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse management role.
• Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and optimize processes.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of warehousing safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
