About the Company:

The Bank of Uganda (BoU) is the Central Bank of the Republic of Uganda. It was opened on the 15th August 1966. It is 100% owned by the Government of Uganda but it is not a government Department.  Bank of Uganda conducts all its activities in close association with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED). Bank of Uganda is responsible for monetary policy and maintaining price stability.

Job Summary:   The Bank of Uganda internship programme 2024, will open for applications in the month of July 2024.

The internship programme 2024 comprising two (2) intakes, each lasting one (1) month shall be conducted from September to October 2024. Each intake shall constitute up to a maximum of Fifty (50) interns.

The online applications should be accompanied by a cover letter, recent testimonial (indicating full results for the first and second year), an introductory letter from the institution of study.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The selection shall be based on academic merit (minimum CGPA 3.6), continuing student status, relevance of the course to BOU operations, first come first serve basis, among others.
