Job Summary:  The Retail Sales Manager will manage the Agency Sales Channel for the Company with the responsibility for Recruiting, Managing, Training Agents and Achieving Sales Targets set for the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering recruitment, sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets.
• Agree on monthly business targets/objective with each sales agent
• Conduct and report monthly performance reviews on each member of sales force.
• To grow individual and SMEs medical insurance sales.
• Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales team.
• Oversee the recruitment, promotion and development of sales team members.
• Assist sales personnel or establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers in organizations.
• Any other duties in line with strategy that may be assigned to you by your 3supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related course from a recognized university
• Hold a Certificate of Proficiency (COP)
• Certificate in Insurance is an added advantage.
• At least four years of experience in business development and sales with a reputable Insurance company or in a related field.
• High level of Integrity and Professionalism
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Confidentiality
• Stake holder management
• Demonstrated proficiency with the MS Office software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Regulatory/market Awareness
• Organizational Skills
• Creativity & Problem — solving skills
