Job Summary: The Medical Quality Assurance Officer will ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to policyholders by overseeing medical quality standards and compliance. The role involves planning and organizing medical audits, reviewing medical records and claims, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or a health care related field.
- Additional certifications or training in medical quality assurance (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) are preferred.
- Relevant Experience:
- Expertise in medical claims assessment, medical review, and quality assurance processes.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills to measure and communicate medical quality performance.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and tools.
