Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades and maintenance of hardware (servers).
• It includes infrastructure replacements programmes as hardware becomes redundant. They also install, configure and maintain platforms and operating systems on which applications run.
• Accountable for network modelling, simulation, capacity management, needs forecasting and monitoring. They also maintain telecommunications infrastructure and connectivity.
• They participate in network planning, engineering and architecture. The function also manages the inventory of all networking components (hubs, bridges, switches, routers) owned and leased by the bank and manages the relationship with infrastructure providers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a First Degree in Information Technology

• Experience in building and managing Networking Technology Infrastructure and Operational environments, the design, adjustments, diagrams and appraisal of current required upgrades, physical and Cloud platforms, infrastructures such as CISCO and firewall adjustments, overseeing and managing related activities and projects, and networking security technologies such as; IPS, IDS, VPN’s, NAC, Wireless standards and protocols, network routing and switching technologies in a global infrastructure
