Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Direct incoming and outgoing traffic onto site and operate weighbridge as per procedure.
• Check incoming/outgoing loads, ensuring compliance with site license and permitted weighbridge loads.
• Weigh all trucks delivering/picking loads to and from the company and capture first and second weights in the ERP- SAP.
• Accurately record weights and vehicle details, completing appropriate documentation and collect driver signatures etc.
• Process weighbridge tickets accurately and efficiently.
• Immediately report any variances and non-conforming loads.
• Ensure the weighbridge is compliant to all the statutory requirements like calibration etc.
• Report any anomalies/errors to the weighbridge system to the appropriate people immediately.
• Compile daily weighbridge report as extracted from SAP.
• Ensure that skip drivers undertake their responsibilities in a safe, consistent, reliable and professional manner.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized government institution.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and statistical data packages.
• Customer care experience.
• Demonstrated coordination and interpersonal skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt and respond to all customers.
