Job Title:   Settlement Clerk (Fresher Jobs)

Reports to: Warehouse/Stock Team Leader

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, CCBA is represented by Century Bottling Company Limited and Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited.

Job Summary:  The primary role of the Settlement Clerk is to make sure all administration is completed and all data captured in the system, on a daily basis in real-time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Capture & analyze data from source documents into the system.
• Compare data with source documentation or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
• Compile, Sort, and Verify the accuracy of the data before it is entered
• Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to the supervisors
• Maintain logs of activities and completed work
• Store completed documents in appropriate locations
• Transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers and data processing sheets.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce.
• Added advantage: ACCA or CPA
• Experience /Knowledge in Accounting.
• Must be computer literate
• Financial acumen
• Must be a strong team player, flexible with the ability to work under minimum Supervision
• Must be energetic and willing to work on weekends when required
• Should have attention to detail
• Must be result oriented
