Innovex’s locally developed premier IoT solution, ‘REMOT’, is helping solar companies fix problems around the operation and maintenance of their installations. REMOT offers after-sales service support; remotely monitoring and controlling solar PV systems and equipment and supporting preventative maintenance and repair activities. To date, ‘Remot’ has been used in over 7 countries in Africa by solar companies and international partners.
Job Summary: Innovex is a company with a strong commitment to creating the best working conditions for staff to deliver at their best. We are looking for Human Resource and Administration personnel who will ensure a conducive working environment is created to facilitate recruitment and retention of the best people for all positions. You will work with management and staff to create this healthy working environment and most of all ensure that everyone has the tools they need to execute Innovex objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the staff recruitment and selection process
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, maintain pay plan and benefits program
- Assess staff training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the staff and upper management
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Keep stock of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- To create and be accountable for all documentation related to staff meetings minutes
- To ensure smooth operation at Innovex office and catering to the staff needs.
- Any other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should hold a graduate-level degree in a relevant field of study
- Three years or more working experience in a similar role, more years of experience is an added advantage
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- An entrepreneurial spirit: creativity, innovation and ability to take initiative and conceptualize and present ideas in a clear and convincing manner.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work well in a multicultural environment.
- Attention to detail, good analytical and numerical skills.
- IT skills including word, power point and excel.
- Highly self-motivated.
